The Downtown Campus Quarterly Family Meeting was held Saturday, April 24, 2021.

Membership Report

The Downtown membership report included 83 members being recommended for removal. (A total of 8 new members were added to Downtown since the January 31 All-Church Quarterly Strategy Meeting). The motion to adopt the membership report was approved.

Motion to Call Chuck Steddom as Pastor for Worship and Ministry Development, Downtown

Pastor Chuck Steddom is currently Pastor for Worship and Ministry Development, South and Downtown. Contingent on the South Campus voting to release him from that role at their May Quarterly Family Strategy Meeting, the Downtown Campus voted to call Pastor Chuck as the Pastor for Worship and Ministry Development, Downtown. The motion was approved.

Remarks on the Women’s Minister Position

Downtown Campus Elder Chair Tom Lutz gave remarks on the decision to pause the process of calling a candidate to the position of Women’s Minister for Development & Discipleship, Downtown. A vote on this position was deferred to a future date.

Elder and Deacon Updates

• Charles Kim was called as a non-staff elder for a three-year term.
• Chad Geyen was called as a non-staff elder for a three-year term.
• Jeff Noyed was called as a Downtown Deacon for a three-year term.

North Campus Meeting Highlights

The North Campus Quarterly Family Meeting was held Sunday, April 25, 2021.

Membership Report

In the membership report, 24 members were recommended for removal. The report was approved with no changes.
