Nurture Program Orientation

Is God drawing you toward overseas ministry? Come hear about Bethlehem’s values and priorities for Global Outreach ministries and learn about the Nurture Program, our means to prepare and send global partners. No need to RSVP.
Bethlehem Somali Ministry Network Meeting
Saturday, Oct 28, 9:30–11:30am, Downtown Campus, Room 111
Come hear from a couple who are involved in ministry to Somalis, visiting from Europe, who are involved in ministry to Somalis through various types of social media, a method that is bearing much fruit in the Muslim world. Learn more.
Missions Fellowship

The monthly Missions Fellowship gathering is intended to help prepare and train those who are interested in missions. Global partners and others with overseas experience will address various missions-related topics. All are welcome to attend. No RSVP is needed.

USA Homestays
Host an international student and offer the warmth, comfort, and community of an American home. Host a student for a semester, or welcome 1–3 students into your home for the Thanksgiving holiday. Learn more.
SALT: Somali Adult Literacy Training
Volunteer one morning a week (Mon–Thurs) at the Downtown Campus to help tutor Somali students in English and build relationships. Learn more. Contact: Carol Van Ess
Arrive: Refugee Life Ministries

Salem Arts Exchange
Volunteer in myriad ways to assist refugee women in learning to sew to earn a living. Sewing classes are held Tuesday evenings in South Minneapolis. Read about their mission and see how to get involved by visiting their website.
