This summer, as we begin a new sermon series titled Songs of David, we want to encourage one another to immerse ourselves in and meditate on the Word, and explore themes in Psalms visually through the creation and sharing of art. All artists, great and small, are encouraged to submit their psalm-inspired visual art with the congregation to be displayed in the Gallery (room 112).

Submissions

Art submissions are being accepted now through mid-September. Your visual art can be dropped off on Sundays at the Welcome Desk or Monday–Thursday 9am–3pm at the church office. When you drop off your art, you will be asked to fill out a slip of paper to indicate the title, artist, and Psalm reference for each piece. You can also indicate if you want to donate it to the church or have it returned after the closing of the gallery.

Display

Art will be hung in the Gallery (room 112) starting in July. Each piece will be displayed with its title, the artist’s name, and the Psalm reference. New pieces will be added throughout the summer, so be sure to visit regularly!

Return 

The gallery will close at the end of September. If you indicated that you would like your art returned, we will contact you in early October with details about picking up your art.
