What happens when the Church shows up at an abortion clinic and prays? Hearts are changed (for all!), truth is proclaimed, and lives are saved. In fact, the 40 Days for Life movement has documented more than 20,000 lives saved since the first "40 Days" was held in 2007—and 229 abortion workers have quit and 114 abortion centers have closed—including the abortion clinic at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. The Lord honors the prayers of his people.
Join many others from around the metro at the "40 Days for Life" vigil being held outside Planned Parenthood St. Paul (March 2 – April 10) and pray for the end to the shedding of innocent blood at this, the largest abortion clinic in Minnesota. Approximately 20,000 churches nationally are involved in "40 Days for Life" vigils. Bethlehem has chosen Friday, October 7, as our “Bethlehem for Life Day.” Please come any time between 6am and 6pm that works with your schedule and pray on-site for hearts of the parents to change, for clinic workers to repent and leave the abortion industry, and for the doors of this abortion clinic to close. Pick up a tiny fetal model at the Sanctity of Life Ministry table on Sundays, September 28—November 6, to use as a reminder of why you are there and as a visual aid whenever you have opportunity to discuss the sanctity of human life.
