Third Friday of each month
All are invited to join us as we gather together to worship and pray, confidently drawing near to the Throne of Grace, that we might receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
Our aim during this time is two-fold ...
- First, we draw near together before our merciful Father and Savior, seeking to honor and worship him together, turning our hearts toward him in thanksgiving and to receive all that he has for us in Christ and through the Holy Spirit.
- Second, we seek to minister to one another, loving and building each other up, through the various gifts that he pours out just as he determines. We all come with needs, as well as gifts, that we might give to and receive from one another, as God enables us.
During the first hour, we spend most of the time worshiping the Lord in song. During the second hour, we minister to one another through prayer in grace and love. As we receive grace and equipping from the Lord, we go out to make his Name known and minister his grace and love to others.
"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:13–15).
