Women's Bible Study Phrasing Workshop: Tracing the Arguments in Colossians

Sept 16, 2020 • 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Location: North Campus, A204

Interested in learning a tool for our Bible study in Colossians? Please join your sisters in a workshop on phrasing, led by Abigail Dodds, a recent graduate of Bethlehem College & Seminary and the author of our study. Our prayer is that this workshop will equip you to better understand Paul's original intent in each passage of Colossians, and result in joyful treasuring of and heartfelt obedience to Jesus Christ.

To participate in this workshop, please ...
  • use the link below to register
  • enroll or "browse" the Biblearc Phrasing course, which will teach you how to wrap your minds around a passage of Scripture by going through the "Five Passes of Phrasing."  This includes dividing up the text of Scripture into its smallest grammatical units, indenting those units and drawing arrows between them to show relationships, labelling those relationships, and applying the main points of the passage to their lives.
Space is limited in person, but all are welcome to join via Zoom. Please bring your own device.
