Join Mike Hoisington on Saturday, February 15, from 9–11am for a wood workshop!
This workshop will be hands-on for anyone over 7 years of age (boys and girls need to attend with an adult/guardian). During your time, you will learn how to use a variety of small hand tools, drills, and tape measurers. At the end of the workshop, we will construct a small wooden bench for you to take home.
One set of eye glasses, a tape measure, and supplies to make a bench will be provided for each family who attends. If you have a cordless drill, please bring it. If you don’t own one, drills will be available for you to use. The cost of the workshop is $10 which covers all materials needed.
Mike has more than 40 years of experience in the building trades, and he has a passion for working with and teaching youth about the basics of everyday tools.
Registration will be on Sundays, January 26 and February 2 in the Commons area. Be sure to sign up soon as spots are limited!
