Do you want to be a world Christian? Join us as we gather to worship, hear from women in missions and pray for God's purposes among the nations.

In October, we will hear from Katie Hayward.

David & Katie Hayward began their work with SIM in Guinea, West Africa, in January 2011. David's primary role is maintenance man for the small SIM-Guinea team, as well as the broader missionary community in Kankan, Guinea. He loves using this role to build relationships and share Christ with local tradesmen. Katie's primary role is Missionary Kid (MK) educator, first for their own children (Jacob 12, Joseph 9, Noah 7, and Hazel 3), but she has also done some teaching of other MKs as well. Discipling a young, newly believing couple this past term in the midst of these other roles was an opportunity that fulfilled the reason the Hayward's are in Guinea—to see a vibrant body of believers growing, worshiping in Spirit and in truth, and reaching out for the extension of God's kingdom in Upper Guinea and beyond. David's service as the team's Deputy Director and Security Coordinator and Katie's service as the team's language coach help them pursue this goal in partnership with others. They dream of finding more ways to give Maninka speakers access to and understanding of God's word, from small groups of seekers, to large groups of church-goers, to little children struggling to read.
