The Call to Love One Another: A Cultural Awareness Book Club

Aug 28, 2019 • 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Location: Downtown Campus, 112

Contact: Lydia Arant, 612-455-3401

Wednesdays; June 5 & 19, July 17 & 31, Aug 14 & 28, and Sept 11; 6:30–8:30pm (every other week)

As Bethlehem pursues greater efforts of Ethnic Harmony, this book club aims to help us grow in our cultural awareness in order to love God and our neighbors more deeply. We hope to provide and foster a safe space where we respect and care for one another with words of love, grace, and forgiveness. Our desire is to grow in lamentation, weeping with those who weep, and to be better equipped to love with the selfless love of Christ.

Book Club Leaders: Londa Wagner, Nirmal & Ann Mekala

Book:
  • Many Colors: Cultural Intelligence for a Changing Church by Soong-Chan Rah
You can order books through the Bethlehem Bookstore (contact Matt Lund, 612-455-3440) or consider using a Kindle edition.
