Film Screening & Discussion: 'Fatal Flaws'

Mar 15, 2019 • 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Location: Downtown Campus, Room 322

Contact: Delsie Baxter

In the state of Minnesota, we are facing the potential of legalized physician-assisted suicide (PAS) and euthanasia coming to our state. Are you informed and able to engage with this issue? Arguments for PAS and euthanasia can sound "compassionate" ... but what is the truth?

Join us as we view the documentary Fatal Flaws: Legalizing Assisted Death (see 2-minute trailer), which explores the consequences of the legalization of PAS and euthanasia in areas of the world where it has been legal the longest. The film will help us consider the implications for our state and our country if it is legalized here. A panel discussion will follow with information from a professional and spiritual perspective. There will be a time of audience Q&A at the end. Learn more in Delsie Baxter's invitation to attend on the March 11 Pastors Blog post.

This event is sponsored by Bethlehem's Sanctity of Life Ministry and North Star Law & Policy Center. The purpose of the evening is to educate and help our congregation be better informed and able to articulate why the arguments for PAS and euthanasia are misguided and dangerous. We want to encourage people to take a stand against this evil here in Minnesota.

All Bethlehem attendees, ages 14+, are invited to attend.
