Psalm 66:16 - Fathers & Sons, Mothers & Daughters

Aug 18, 2019 • 10:45am - 12:15pm

Location: Downtown Campus, Third Floor

Contact: Nina Mariani

6616 is based on Psalm 66:16 where the psalmist says “come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul."

6616 Sunday mornings include two separate groups of people at the same time: fathers & sons as well as mothers & daughters. There will be a blend of story-telling and adult show-and-tell where our speakers will tell stories of God’s grace upon them as well as using visual aides to talk about things they like to do. For example, if it is camping, then they will bring in some camping gear.

Father/Son speakers: Eric Iverson & Pastor Bud Burk
Mother/Daughter speaker: Samm Poteat

What again is the aim in this? We want boys, girls and parents to see that these men and women who know and love Jesus are real down to earth people, living with their feet on the ground among us all with their hearts set on high looking for the return of our King. In summary: summer for the sake of the Name among the generations.

Your RSVP is appreciated.
