  1. Share your testimony. How did God draw you to faith in Christ?
On Labor Day weekend of 1979, I came to Christ while watching a Billy Graham Crusade on TV. The Lord literally led me to Northwestern College in Roseville where I was able to receive an Associates of Arts and Bible and make many wonderful Christ-centered and transforming relationships with faculty and students.

  2. Tell us about your family and your relationship with your spouse and children. Does your spouse support your move toward becoming a deacon?
Krista and I have been married for 27 years and have three children. During their years at Bethlehem, all the children came to Christ. Unfortunately one has strayed who is now in her 20's. Our family is not perfect, but we pray and connect with our children and in our marriage. Yes, Krista is supportive of me in the diaconal role.

  3. Do you agree with the Elder Affirmation of Faith and the Church Covenant?

  4. When did you start attending Bethlehem?
1985. We left twice to help with church plants: Celebration Community Church and Jubilee Community Church.

  5. In what areas have you served at Bethlehem?
Small Group Leader, Helping Hand Committee, and Greeter

  6. Why are you eager to serve as a deacon at Bethlehem?
Years ago I was a deacon as a part of the Helping Hand Committee. It would be appropriate to be officially recognized as a deacon as I am still on the Helping Hand Committee and working as the Director of Jericho Road Ministries (a ministry of Bethlehem Ministry Initiatives).
