Deacon; Administrative Assistant for Women's Ministry
Cynthia was raised in a Christian home and attended church regularly. However, it wasn’t until after college—and years of pursuing the “wide road” of sin—that the Lord opened her eyes, ears, and heart to see her sin and guilt before his perfect holy requirement. At the age of 24, she accepted his perfect sacrifice on the cross as the propitiation for her sins. The Lord subsequently led her to faithful, Bible-believing churches where she grew in faith, received biblical teaching, and was enabled to serve.
Cynthia came to Bethlehem in 1995, which she describes as a time of “refreshing” for her faith.
During her decades here, she has taught Sunday School for children, led Bible studies and mentored women, hosted group gatherings, and served as a greeter on Sunday mornings. In addition to serving as a deacon, she works part-time as the Women’s Ministry Assistant.
