Bryan was raised in a Christian household and came to Christ at five years old. He was later baptized at his local church in Winona, Minnesota. His relationship with Christ deepened during his time at college (St. Cloud State University), where he got connected with Campus Outreach. After graduating in 2017, he began attending Bethlehem and has served as the Assistant Treasurer, an FPA committee member, and a Small Group Leader.

He and Kiersten have been married since 2017 and have one child.
