‘Thank You’ From a Trusted Partner in Ecuador
With the onset of COVID-19, the world has been going through some extremely trying times, especially for the poorest of the poor. We have heard of stories of no work, no food, no medical care, no weddings, and no funerals. In some areas, dead bodies are piled on the street for the local officials to come and dispose of them.
Bethlehem’s Global Diaconate has responded to this need through various ministry partners. In the last four months, we have sent out 28 financial gifts equalling approximately $85,000 to help the poorest of the poor. Most of these gifts have been given to our global partners to bless those in their ministry area. Some have been given to other trusted partners. All funds were used to help the needy in the Name of Jesus.
We received the thank-you below from one of our trusted partners in Ecuador. Please read it and view the video message that highlights the fruit of this ministry partnership.
Hi dear Bethlehem Baptist Church family!
I hope you are doing well and enjoying God’s blessings!
We wanted to show our appreciation and gratitude to The Global Diaconate for partnering with us in ministry. It is a gift from God to be able to call you partners but most importantly to call you “friends.”
We prepared a short video just to say thank you and all the congregation for the support to our ministry “Pan de Vida” [Bread of Life] during this special time of need. We hope you enjoy it.
Much has passed with this pandemic. We pray that God is holding you under His wings during these trying times. The last 5 months have been extremely busy for us and the same as you probably. At Pan de Vida, we have not stopped working as we served over 7,600 emergency food kits, reaching out to more that 30,000 people in the cities of Guayaquil, Quito, Olon, Balao, Playas, and Machala.
We look forward to continuing to build God’s kingdom on this earth along with you. What an honor to work together!
