Southeast Asia Ministry Trip (June 2018)

Brad Nelson

Pastor for Global Outreach Strategic Short Term Ministry

More than 2 million unreached Sea Tribe people live throughout this region in Southeast Asia, which consists of tropical jungle, remote beaches, and small fishing villages. As a member of this team, you will directly assist our global partners’ efforts to see the gospel transform this nearly 100% Islamic group. We will experience the Sea Tribe culture up close and in person with the assistance of national guides.

Our visit as tourists gives the team a unique entry into the lives of the Sea Tribe people as we live among them. In the villages, we will participate in community development programs, traditional Sea Tribe cultural events, and local sports (as you desire). You will see life through their eyes. You will have the opportunity to bless these people spiritually as you share your faith through the course of natural conversation.

Trip dates are either June 25–July 13 (shorter trip) or June 25–July 22 (longer trip), and the estimated fundraising goal is $3,200 (shorter trip) or $4,100 (longer trip), with financial help available for Bethlehem members. Experienced trip leaders are Steve & Laurie Walmsley.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Steve Walmsley (612-709-5911). See trip details and application (MM Southeast Asia 6/18).
