Prayer Week 2019
This year, Bethlehem’s Prayer Week runs Sunday, January 6, through Sunday, January 13. Would you join us as we begin 2019 with a special emphasis on seeking the Lord and his presence through prayer?
On Sunday, January 6, be sure to pick up a 2019 Prayer Week Guide from an usher at your campus. Once again, Pastor David Livingston has blessed us with a booklet of daily devotionals—this year, focusing on how God has manifested and will manifest his presence with his people: “Praying for the Presence of God.” Each devotional also includes a song or hymn following the reading. The lyrics can be found on the Prayer Week 2019 Suggested Songs & Hymns page. Alternately, the hymn’s page number from The Worshiping Church hymnal is listed for each hymn.
The guide includes campus-specific prayer requests so that you can see what is on the hearts of your leaders as they begin a new ministry year. We encourage you to keep the guide throughout the year to review and refresh your prayers for Bethlehem with the breakdown of requests by ministry area.
Each weekday this coming week you will be able to find at least one prayer gathering held at one of our campuses (Downtown, North, and South).
Finally, for our prayer focus this year, Pastor Jason Meyer recommends the book Prayer: How Praying Together Shapes the Church by John Onwuchekwa. The title is on sale now at the Bethlehem Bookstore for $9.75 (35% off retail price) through Sunday, January 13.
A fruitful, worshipful, prayer-full Prayer Week 2019 to you!
