During the past year, we began to have Bethlehem’s All-Church Quarterly Strategy Meetings at all three campuses simultaneously, connected via livestream. The original impetus for this arrangement was the COVID-19 pandemic and our inability to gather together in one place given the capacity restrictions for each location. Additionally, it seemed like a good opportunity to allow our members on various campuses to participate in the meeting. Indeed, we have had more than 500 of us present at the last two meetings. The livestream has been especially helpful for our South Campus members who, on balance, need to travel longer distances to get to the Downtown Campus for a meeting. 

However, the pandemic restrictions are now over. Additionally, the livestream meetings require a fair amount of work on the part of our staff and are a challenge to lead and coordinate effectively. Further, with the advent of our campus-specific meetings, it is good to gather as one church for our all-church meetings as much as possible. 

QSM Host Rotation, Beginning With North Campus

Given these considerations and still wanting to encourage participation, we have decided to make an adjustment to our location for the July 18 meeting. The July 18 All-Church Quarterly Strategy Meeting will be hosted live at the North Campus. We will offer a livestream to the South Campus. Please plan to attend at the location nearest you. 

We want to do these meetings well, and we will continue to think about and plan how we might do so in the future. This is a work in progress, and one idea is to rotate the hosting location of the all-church meetings throughout the year. We hope to see you July 18!
