On Sunday, December 12, each of Bethlehem’s campuses held a Special Meeting to conduct campus business prior to the All-Church Annual Meeting held on the same date. See highlights from each campus below.

Downtown Campus Meeting

Membership Report

Pastor Jared Wass presented the membership report. The report included 26 members being recommended for removal. The motion was amended to add two members to remove, resulting in a total of 28 members being recommended for removal. The motion to adopt the membership report was approved.

Motion to Reaffirm Downtown Elders

Motion carried to reaffirm the following elders for a three-year term:

• Bud Burk
• Paul Delahunt
• Kenny Stokes

Ministry Updates

• Pastor Kenny Stokes shared ministry updates on his transition to the role of Pastor for Preaching & Vision, Downtown, and spoke about plans for the all-elder summit scheduled for January 22.
• Pastor Jared Wass shared updates on Small Group ministry, Sunday School, and Counseling at the Downtown Campus.
• Pastor Chuck Steddom shared updates on the deacon ministry.
• Pastor René González shared updates on the worship ministry, the Downtown choir, and the Hispanic Ministry.
• Allison Steddom, Ministerial Coordinator for Youth, Downtown, shared an update on the youth ministry.
• Pastor Bud Burk shared an update on children’s ministry.

Motion carried to call Nick Brazis and Ryan Dembeck as non-staff elders at the North Campus.

Membership Report

Pastor Daniel Viezbicke presented the membership report. In the report, 20 members were recommended for removal, and seven individuals were recommended for addition. The motions to remove and add were approved.

Motion for Elder Reaffirmations

The motion carried to reaffirm the following elders for a three-year term:

• Phil Nelson
• Peter Thorpe
• Alan West

Pastoral Updates

Pastor Dave Zuleger gave an update on the future recommended three-church structure that the elders approved to be shared with the congregation.
