Easter Flowers 2022
One year, sometime after my father passed in 1995, Bethlehem presented the option to donate an Easter flower in honor of a loved one. These flowers were then a part of the beauty of the Resurrection celebration on Easter Sunday morning. For years since then, my wife, Mary, and I have kept our tradition of donating a flower every year for our parents, three of whom have now passed on.
Though the Easter Flowers tradition continues at Bethlehem, this year we are adjusting part of the flower donation/purchasing in order to more easily share this Easter tradition across our three campuses.
We’re inviting those who would like to donate $20 toward flowers in honor of loved ones to submit donations by Wednesday April 13, via a campus-specific link:
Your $20 will help to cover costs of the floral arrangements in the Sanctuary of your campus on Easter morning, and you will be able to see the name of your loved one on a “Memorial Easter Flowers” web page that will be highlighted on the Easter Sunday Order of Worship. (Please note that this year we will be listing only the names of the loved ones for whom the flowers are donated and not the donors themselves.)
