Discipleship Travel: The Church in Ireland Past and Present

Jared Wass

Pastor for Small Groups, Downtown

We are limited in how much we can understand our own context for mission if we don’t experience other contexts to contrast it to. With that in mind, Ryan Griffith, of Bethlehem College & Seminary, organized a study trip to Ireland that he graciously allowed me to help plan—and make available to the Bethlehem congregation.

Even with the late notice, I thought it was worth passing along for the opportunity it presents to grow in personal discipleship. Give it a look. Blessings to you in your gospel witness through word and deed!

The Church in Ireland Past and Present

Travel Dates: March 16–26, 2018
Pre-Trip Meetings: February 7 & 21

Consider joining Bethlehem College & Seminary students, Professor Ryan Griffith, Pastor Jared Wass, and others on a study trip to Ireland this Spring.

Tours will be led by Samuel Chestnutt who is Northern Irish, owns EdenGate Travel & Missions, and is a friend of Bethlehem. Samuel will guide the group on visits to historical sites associated with early pagan worship and Christian mission (including St. Patrick) and meetings with historians, theologians, and church leaders. This immersive experience in Celtic culture and Christianity is designed to help you grow in your own personal ministry of mission and discipleship, whether at home or abroad.
