Commencement. An interesting word used to celebrate the completion of an academic program. But it makes perfect sense when the purpose of the academic program is to launch the graduate into future service for the glory of Christ.
This Friday, May 19, at 7pm at the Downtown Campus Sanctuary, 52 Bethlehem College & Seminary graduates (34 from the college, 18 from the seminary) are launching into their next chapter of life. Some are heading into further studies, some into the marketplace, some into various ministry positions. Our seminary graduates are launching into vocational ministry or are seeking to do so.
