On Wednesdays this summer, join us for a meal, worship & teaching, and extended fellowship at Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton. Gatherings are held Wednesdays, June 5–August 28 (except for August 7), 5:30–7pm, followed by park play, games, and fellowship until dusk.
Connection will be held at the North Campus on Wednesdays, beginning in mid-September 2019 through early May 2020. Details to come! See below for an overview of 2018–19 classes.

RSVP by Noon on Mondays with the receptionist at 612-455-0800 or sign up at the meal for the following week. Specify your last name and number of meals for adults and children. Cost is $4/adult, $3/child (ages 12 and under), or $15/family.
Join us for worship in song and prayer. These services include testimonies, baptisms, and updates from global partners and short-term teams.
Youth Choir Rehearsals
Wednesdays, Sept 12–May 8, 5:20–6:10pm
Children’s choirs typically sing 4–5 times a year in weekend worship services and special events. During weekly rehearsals, children learn principles of biblical worship and the rudiments of music and singing. If your child is interested in singing in a choir, please come to a rehearsal. New members are welcome throughout the year. Introduce yourself to the choir director, who will help your child get started.

Parents, please register your child(ren) for Wednesday activities and classes, Nursery–Grade 12. When you arrive, please come to a Check-In Kiosk so we can print a name tag for each student.
After worship, students in Grade 3 and younger meet leaders in the Commons. Please pick up your child after class.

Mind & Heart

This class for adults of all ages takes its name from 1 Chronicles 22:19: “Now set your mind and heart to seek the Lord your God.” In the Fall, the class will go through the study Tracing God’s Way: An Introduction to Biblical Theology. In the Spring, the class will go through the video series by Pastor John Piper on The Pleasures of God. Homework for an accompanying study will be optional. Leader: Tony Cooper.
Men’s Bible Study

Men in this group will work through a Precept In & Out study during the week and then gather on Wednesday evenings for small group discussion of the homework. The group plans to study Joshua (Fall) and Judges (Winter/Spring). Register by sending an email to Tom Hipkins (leader).
Women’s Bible Study Discussion Group

Outreach Workshop: Befriending Unbelievers

Join us for a discussion and action based class exploring how we can follow Jesus in reaching the lost around us. Pastor Vince Johnson and Ryan Kirchoff will lead the group through the theology of a God who befriends, and how that practically impacts the way we do evangelism.
All Nations ESL

This English conversation class (intermediate to advanced) is for adults who wish to improve their conversational skills. Tutors and students spend an hour talking about a topic each week. Students can ask questions, consider the claims of Jesus Christ, and learn about different cultures.
Women’s Study in Mandarin

Women, come examine (in Mandarin Chinese) God’s Word with us! Principles of an exemplary Christian life are emphasized in the study of 1 Thessalonians. You will learn about spiritual warfare, the gospel message, the rapture of the church, and the characteristics of true conversion. Instructors: Sue Miao, Julia Liao, and Wenhong Weber. Register.

Adult Worship Choir Rehearsals

The mission of this choir is to tell of God’s faithfulness through a broad range of musical styles. In addition to assisting the congregation in corporate worship, the choir also sings in special events at the North Campus. This choir is open to all adults (Grade 10 and older); no audition required.

This full orchestra joins worship services (typically once a month) at the North Campus. We’re committed to expressing worship through a wide range of historic, current, and cross-cultural styles of instrumental praise. This orchestra is open to anyone with at least a high-school-level playing ability. Audition may be required; musicians may join at any time.
