former Minister for Women, Downtown
Lori was raised in Great Falls, Montana. She attended church with her family but was involved only at a superficial level; church was more about social activities with peers than a relationship with Jesus Christ. For a brief time, their church had an evangelical youth leader and she teetered on committing her life to Jesus, but when that pastor left the church, she did too.
Lori went on to receive a BS degree in Chemical Engineering, and worked in aerospace and manufacturing for 6 years. During these years, she drifted even farther from the Lord, believing that death was the end of existence. It wasn’t until a young man invited her to a Bible study that she began to think about God. It was there that she committed her life to the Christ (then married that wonderful man).
As Lori was home raising her two children, she was a volunteer youth leader, a discussion leader for Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), led many Bible studies for women at her church, and led women’s ministry for two years. Through all this, Lori’s faith has steadily grown and she is now more in love with Jesus than ever.
Lori has a passion for God’s word and for teaching women how to study and get to know the Savior more deeply through the Bible.
Lori is married to Barry. They have two adult children, a son and daughter. They have been at Bethlehem about 6 years. Lori has been on staff, in women’s ministry, since February 2016.
