God called me into his kingdom when I was 4 years old. Since that day, through Jesus Christ my Lord and by the power of the Holy Spirit, God has kept me from stumbling and I joyfully look forward to one day being in the presence of his glory (Jude 1, 20–21, 24–25). I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home where we valued regular participation in the local church. Through the church, God used many mentors to disciple me and point me to Jesus.
My wife, Heidi, and our children Evan (2001), Addie (2005), and Isaiah (2008) started worshiping at Bethlehem’s North Campus in 2012 when I began the MDiv program at Bethlehem College & Seminary (graduated 2016). Our family greatly enjoys participating and serving in various areas at Bethlehem. In the past, I served on the worship team and as a Jr High small group leader. More recently, I have been teaching an adult theology class (“Mind & Heart”) on Wednesday nights, ushering with our kids, and Heidi and I serve as small group leaders at our home in Forest Lake.
Since graduating from Bethlehem College & Seminary, I have been working for The Gospel Coalition. Before that, I worked as a database administrator for almost 20 years at two different companies in Minneapolis.
I love meditating on God’s word, am intrigued by anything science-related, and am eager to try my hand at any home repair or remodel project.
