    GIVE

    Helping Hand Thanksgiving Food Drive
Instead of receiving grocery items for our traditional Thanksgiving Food Drive, our contributions will be made as funds to local food shelves. Each of our food shelf partners is seeing record needs in our community. For each $1 donated, the food shelf can obtain $8 of food through Second Harvest Heartland. Throughout the month of November, donations to the Helping Hand Fund will go toward our local food shelves:

      Jericho Road Ministries (CityJoy)
      Ralph Reeder Food Shelf
      “360 Communities”

To give online, you can indicate your campus and select the “Helping Hand Fund” at bethlehem.church/give

    Operation Christmas Child
You can help pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items to help provide opportunities around the world to reach children with the gospel. Plan to return filled shoeboxes to the South Campus by November 21. Contact: Arlene Hurt

    CityJoy Opportunities
CityJoy is a nonprofit ministry organization of Bethlehem that exists to mobilize our church for ministry. Learn more at CityJoy.org.

    • Provide a Thanksgiving or Christmas Meal for a Family
For $40 you can provide a full Thanksgiving/Christmas meal for a family of 6–8, including a whole turkey. CityJoy is partnering with Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church to distribute these meals. To contribute, give to CityJoy’s Emergency Food Fund at CityJoy.org.
    • Attend the Jericho Road Christmas Open House
Jericho Road Ministries is hosting a Christmas Open House on Friday, December 3, 4:30–7pm. Join us for a meal, Christmas carols, some encouraging words, and an update about Jericho Road. We are located at 1628 E. 33rd St, Minneapolis 55407.

Christmas Baskets of Blessing With Joni & Friends
We’re partnering with Joni & Friends of Minnesota to provide baskets filled with items to bless the households of those who have a member with a disability or special needs. The basket will include a Bible and information about resources for those affected by disability. Would you join us?

    • Pray for these efforts to truly bless the families and to build lasting relationships. Share the names of those you know who could receive a basket.
    • Donate a gift card for a tasty meal or for a shop where families could select toys or games. Drop items off at the South Campus office with a note “for Christmas Baskets.”
    • Volunteer to deliver a basket and consider giving “coupons” for continued investment in the family, such as providing a meal, shoveling snow from their driveway after a storm, or inviting them over for popcorn and a movie.

To share names or offer to help, contact Joshua Oakley.

    Christmas Tree Gifts for Life
Give a gift that encourages life this Christmas through New Life Family Services and Amnion Pregnancy Center. Trees will be available beginning Sunday, November 28.

Take part in supporting New Life Family Services by visiting the Christmas trees in the Commons at North and Downtown campuses or by going to a virtual tree option online—also available by texting “BBCTREE” to 41444. In addition to specific services, you will see opportunities to help give toward opening the new location in the Phillips neighborhood (construction underway). Contact: Delsie Baxter
    •   Amnion Christmas Giving Tree
During Advent, we have the opportunity to supply a number of practical items for the ongoing work of Amnion Pregnancy Center. You can visit the Christmas tree in the South Campus Commons, choose an ornament, and fulfill the request on it. Bring the gift items back to the tree at the South Campus by December 26. Online gifts are also welcome at helpofferhope.org. Contact: Char Puelston
