Respite Night is an evening for parents who care for children with disability to get a time of rest and/or a date night. Bethlehem families at the Downtown Campus are invited to bring all of their children for this event. Children will be well cared for and enjoy fun activities, music, snack, and gym time. Children with a disability will have a 1:1 buddy for the evening.
Our Vision for Respite Night
Practically, the hands-on purpose of Respite Night is to serve parents/caregivers who care for children with special needs and/or disabilities by giving them a few hours of restful break or date night while their children enjoy fun activities together with volunteers. Spiritually, this grace-filled evening shows to these families the love and joy we have in Christ. Our hope is that this event will strengthen marriages, reflect Christ as our church body serves together, and help us grow in compassion and love for others while bonding with brothers and sisters in fellowship!
