Do you want to be a world Christian? Join us as we gather to worship, hear from women in missions and pray for God's purposes among the nations.
In December, we will hear from Global Partners Mary and Carrie.
Mary started at Bethlehem in 1986. She and Mike serve with Pioneers and were sent out as Bethlehem Global Partners in 1992. They are working to establish a church planting movement among the indigenous people of a country in the Arab World. They raised two (now adult) children on the field. Mary has a counseling/human relations degree and is one of several regional Child Safety Officers with Pioneers. She am open to chatting with women about how to share Christ with Muslims and she would love to meet anyone who is interested in learning Arabic in order to minister to Arabic speakers.
Ryan & Carrie serve the people of the horn of Africa in education. Ryan loves his job teaching English at the local university, and Carrie is teaching their six children at home. The last two years have been rich as they have been immersed in language and culture learning while walking through trials, joys, and loss with Christ. Their joy is most full as they are drawn into the work God is doing in their relationships! Carrie is studying Counseling through CCEF and now at Westminster pursuing her masters. The understanding she gains through this education has been like gold as she seeks to wisely love her neighbors, sisters and brothers, family, and her team. She will share some of how she has been challenged and growing through pursuing meaningful relationships with those around her.
