Sundays, 9am & 11am
We continue to ask for RSVPs to attend in-person worship services. Registration opens on Wednesdays prior to the coming Sunday’s services. The service available on livestream at 9am on Sundays.
Spanish Translation of Worship Service
Spanish translation is offered for those attending the in-person 9am worship service. Headsets are available at the Welcome Desk. Beginning September 13, Spanish translation livestream will be available on Sundays at 9am.

Resuming Jan 24
After pausing in December, we are pleased that nursery will be available again for children (age 1–3) on Sundays at 9am beginning Jan 24. You can fill out registration for nursery along with worship service registration, which opens on Wednesdays prior to the coming Sunday’s services.

Children’s Sunday School Update
For the Winter semester, elementary children’s Sunday School classes will not be offered. Pastor Bud Burk designed a new Children’s Worship Folder (PDF) with guides for listening, learning, and talking about the sermon. Various supports for parents (see details below) and some online resources are in development.
King’s Friends (55+ years)
Room 114 & on Zoom
Adults in mid-life and beyond (ages 55+) gather to celebrate God’s word, pray, hear about missions, and seek to finish well. The class is currently in a series called “Mysteries of the Faith.” This class meets year-round, even on holiday weekends. Register here for the in-person class. Old Testament Survey 2
Sundays, Jan 3–May 16
11am–12:30pm, Room 307 & on Zoom
Although Jesus never read the book of Romans, the letters to the Corinthians, or the book of Revelation, he did know what we refer to as the Old Testament. And this Scripture revealed Jesus. The goal of the class is to familiarize ourselves with the theme of each individual book of the Old Testament, as well as the overall message of Scripture. This two-semester class will require two textbooks in addition to the Bible. A student workbook is available for download. Register. Leader: Rod Takata
Becoming a Better Listener

Prayer for Prodigals

Parents are invited to gather each month to pray for their prodigal children. If you have an adult prodigal, or a younger child who appears to be walking down that road, we would love to have you join us for prayer.
‘Beholding and Being Transformed’ Prayer & Worship
Third Friday of each month, 7–8:30pm (meeting on fourth Friday in January)
Based on 2 Corinthians 3:18, our desire is that we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, would be transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. At this gathering, we desire to savor God’s presence through the exercise of the gifts of the Spirit among us, his people. “Parenting With Words of Grace” is a Google Hangouts gathering hosted by Pastor Bud & Lisa Burk, including reading, conversation, and prayer. It will cap at 20 participants, and an RSVP is required. Contact Bud Burk to RSVP.

Parenting by Way of Vision
